Contact Lenses to Fit Your Lifestyle

If you’re looking for an optometrist in Raleigh to discuss your contact lens options, Family Eye Care Center can fit your needs. Our professionals can complete a full eye exam and explain the best choices for your vision. Whether you’ve been wearing contacts for years and need a new eye doctor or if you’ve never worn contacts and want to see what types of contact lenses are available for your prescription, we can help educate you on all of latest options.

Types of Contact Lenses

There are a number of lenses available for contact wearers, depending on their needs and lifestyle. At Family Eye Care Center, we want to educate our patients on the types of contact lenses so that we can help them make the most informed and beneficial choices for their long-term needs. There are different types of vision problems and solutions.

Daily Lenses:

Biotrue OneDay: Biotrue OneDay are a convenient solution, especially for allergy sufferers. Studies show that using fresh contact lenses daily alleviates some of the discomfort that patients with allergies are prone to with their contacts. Biotrue OneDay are worn for the day and then discarded, so there’s no messy solution or contact lens care.

Dailies Aqua Comfort Plus: Dailies Aqua Comfort Plus are also disposable contact lenses which patients wear for a single day and then discard. They offer the same convenience of use and alleviate allergy discomfort.

Bausch & Laub Ultra Lenses:

Bausch & Lomb Ultra Contact Lenses: These contacts are specifically designed with a moisture seal to ease the discomfort and eyestrain that comes with extended use of technology. For those who use smart phones and computers on a constant basis, these contacts may be an optimal choice.

Air Optix Night & Day: These lenses are designed to be worn constantly for a maximum of 30 days, so wearers sleep in these lenses. They’re designed for optimal comfort and allow users to see clearly from the moment they open their eyes.

Presbyopia Lenses:

Presbyopia is a common and natural part of the aging process where we lose the ability to focus on things far away or smaller print. This is why so many of us need reading glasses around the age of 40 or so.

Biotrue Oneday Multifocal: These lenses solve the issues for those who develop vision problems with age. The Biotrue Oneday Multifocal lenses allow users to focus at every level, whether the issue is with near or far sightedness or any point in between in a convenient, daily disposable lens.

Air Optix Multifocal: These lenses work with your natural function to provide the best possible vision without the aid of reading glasses or several different pairs of glasses for different functions.
